Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow at the cliffs of Fair Head
Thoughts?
We are pretty much speechless. We both got on the GoT wagon a little late, but BOY, what a ride it’s been ever since. It’s no wonder this has become the biggest show in the world. It’s no wonder we’re all so in love with it.
And now the last and final and scariest season is upon us. After this, there is no more. We’ll just have to rewatch and rewatch all of it until we get enough.
Which will obviously never happen.
This show affects lives. At least it’s affected ours in a big way: we just put together this sceneframing gallery of Game of Thrones shots alone; we’re planning more trips to filming locations in Malta and Spain.
In 2017 we were chosen as the official Game of Thrones Ambassadors and spoke at a Thrones themed tourism event in Belfast a year later.
We’ve also built Game of Thrones location guides and written many, many stories on our related adventures to help our fellow fans get where we’ve been, to see the places we’ve loved.
So yeah. It’s not just a TV show for us anymore. And we suspect we’re not the only ones whose lives have been altered to the better by this show, be it by finding new friends or hobbies or passions… or just simply excitement and joy.
Are we right or are we right?
