A bison watching the oncoming traffic in Yellowstone National Park
For an enthusiastic nature photographer this national park is almost like paradise. If you’re into the fauna and the flora, then the Yellowstone wildlife photo ops won’t leave you cold! Our 4-day stay in the park was definitely too short, but we managed to spot a lot of different species in the wild even during that time.
Can you believe we’ve seen black bears in the wild?! And bison?! Because we really, really can’t…
We have tons of tips and photos to share from this place, but first, let’s have a look at Tiia’s Yellowstone wildlife photos.
(Yes. Tiia is a really big fan of ravens.)
BEAR CUBS. Not a bear, not some bears, but a mama bear and two little ones! We spotted a few cars parked on the side of the road, drove up and asked what they’re seeing… and it turned out they’d seen the three bears run down in the forest. And after about just 10 minutes of patiently waiting, they appeared, climbed onto two trees and completely ignored us.
And we snapped about 500 photos while ooh’ing and aah’ing at our good luck and the sight in front of us.
What a life. What. A. Life.
