USA

Why do we want to visit the United States of America (USA between pals) over and over again? That’s a good question, to which we have many, many answers.

First of all, it’s a big country, alright? And when a country is as big as the USA, there’s going to be a lot for you to look at and experience. The vast mountains, forests, deserts, beaches, fields, cities, cultures —  it’s a never-ending treasure chest for a traveler.

As film tourism bloggers, we also love the States because of the other obvious reason: movies. Each year, there’s a dozen new film productions relevant to our interests so that means a lot of new locations to visit. So, what can we really do? We’ll have to visit at least once a year!

  • In recent years, Atlanta has become a major player in the film industry. Since 2008, Georgia’s generous tax credits have attracted the production crews of more than 140 films and shows to the city and its surrounding areas. The small town of Covington, GA may have coined the…

  • It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We’re counting down the days ’til Christmas with a new sceneframe every day on social media. We’re already a quarter-way through our advent calendar and wanted to gather all the photos we’ve posted so far into a handy collection here…

  • We’ve done many scenic drives during our travels but not many of them can compare to the absolutely stunning vistas of the Seward Highway. It stretches 125 miles south from Anchorage to the town of Seward. There’s loads to see along the way and Seward at the end…

  • Is it ok to say we cried a little when we left Atlanta after spending five glorious days visiting The Walking Dead filming locations and hanging out with fellow fans on set while they were filming the season 5 premiere? Ok or not, but yes… we cried a little. This…

  • We would say “hello from Alaska!” but we’ve actually already left. Boo! We don’t want to leave Alaska! We want to go back to one of the most magical places we’ve ever visited, honestly. Unfortunately we only had three times to explore Anchorage and the surrounding areas this…

  • There’s something happening in four days that we haven’t really been shouting from the rooftops. But now that everything’s in order, now that we have our suitcases out, our hiking shoes ready, the screenshots from multiple shows and movies stored on our tablets, it is time to shout…
