Long Time No Blog

As many of you have probably noticed, we’ve taken a little break from blogging this year. And you can probably guess why – thanks to COVID-19, we haven’t been able to travel at all, but that’s not the only reason our blog has gone quiet.

Excited helicopter travelers back in 2017. We miss you, Vancouver!

We’ve both also been busy with new jobs! Which is a miracle, really, what with people all over the world losing their jobs and businesses thanks the the pandemic. Not a day goes by when we don’t thank our lucky stars for having it this good: to be too busy to concentrate on the funnest hobby one could ever have (I’m talking about this blog!).

Having a long break from traveling has also made us miss it more than ever before. We browse old photos from our trips to Vancouver, Atlanta, New Zealand and Northern Ireland; we reminisce over fun stuff that happened during our roadtrip, all the familiar faces we met while visiting the sets of various TV shows here and there, and we wish we could get back to it soon.

Only time will tell if travel ever goes back to the way it was. It’ll be interesting to see how people’s attitude and willingness to travel long-distance changes; if the pandemic affects flight prices dramatically or however else these weird and scary times affect all things we used to consider normal.

So for now, we’ll just have to keep going, stay positive and hope we’ll all get through this healthy and happy. That includes you, dear readers.

Until better times and travels… stay safe, everyone!
