There were many movies shown that I haven’t seen, but I have been to several James Bond filming locations, of which the most notable was Sotheby’s Auction in London and Back to the Future III western village which was in Tuolumne County, California. Also in the same county there were filmed parts of the Little House in the Prairies. Parts of the L-World was filmed in Palm Springs, CA, where I have been. This becomes soon very exciting.

I know!! So easy to get addicted to it, isn’t it? You’ve been to some really good ones! We’re hoping to visit lots of new ones during our upcoming roadtrip too :)

Thank you! We tried to include a lot of genres, films and shows on the list so everyone could spot at least a couple of things they’ve actually seen. Hope we succeeded!! :)

Awesome blog… great job girls! If you head out to Utah you will find tons of filming locations in very cool places. My favorite one was in Canyonlands where they filmed the last scenes of Thelma and Louise. Enjoy your trip!

Hey & thank you so much! We’ve been to Utah but only had time for a few locations. We have such a hectic travel style because we want to see / find as many locations as possible. Jeez :)

Tää on kyllä ihana blogi! Vasta tänä vuonna oon tutustunut. Osassa näistä paikoista on tullut käytyä ja muutenkin joissain kohteissa ihan sen vuoksi, että siellä olisi kuvattu joku tietty elokuva/sarja. Oon miettinyt, että tekis jonkun postauksen just noista paikoista. Pitääpä sun blogi muistaa linkata sit siihen. :-)

I must say I like what you’re doing very much, great job girls! I’m a big fan of movies and tv series, too, and I’d love to visit some of the locations mentioned here (Sherlock, Breaking Bad, 12 years a slave) and also some others, like the filming locations of Lost and Twin Peaks. I’ve actually been to Hawaii, but unfortunately it had already been so long from Lost, that they had stopped the guided tours of Lost filming sites. We could have done it independently, too, but at that time we didn’t have enough time or money. But hey, next time!

Oh yes, Hawaii! We’d love to go for Lost and Jurassic Park, and maybe a few other things… wondering if they’d let us live there for a while, running guided tours??? You know, because moving to the States and working there is so very simple *sarcastic voice* :D

A lot of interesting places to visit. Good idea to match movies to real places :)

Thank you! It’s also a loooot of fun sometimes, although frustrating when a place is closed from public or we simply can’t recognize it :D
