Fangirl Quest Explained In A Minute

Fangirl Quest Travel Blog & Film Tourism

Sometimes, we meet new people and they ask what Fangirl Quest Travel Blog is about. Sure, we can say we’re travel writers, but that doesn’t quite cover it.

The term “sceneframing” alone has turned out to be pretty challenging to explain in just a few words, so we usually carry around a few example photos. We have one in our business card and a bunch on our phones and tablets… just in case. And it’s made our lives so much easier.

The other day I was playing around with a fun iPhone video editor and decided to put together a slideshow of some of our Supernatural sceneframes. What it eventually turned out to be is Fangirl Quest in a nutshell. We might have to do another one with some famous movie frames (like Forrest Gump and Brokeback Mountain) in the future, but for now, we’re happy to go with our all time favorite show.

After all, Supernatural is pretty much what started our whole journey into fandom, and eventually, turned us into travel bloggers.

  1. You girls have had an ultimately great idea. I just LOVE THIS! Keep it up!

  2. Aww thank you so much! The idea came by accident… but now we’ve been at it for three years so it was the good kind of accident! :)

I’m a huge fan of Matt Damon and I in fact think I’m his #1fan but I’m sure everyone says this but only someone like you would understand what I mean I don’t do the travel thing I wish I could then I finally might meet him to get autograph and pics but I think it’s amazing that you do this because not many people understand a true fan does though it’s kinda like Robin Williams role in the movie when he explained I can sit here and talk or read about something all day but really being there and experiencing the moment is a whole different thing thanks for inspiration

    • What an amazing post. I loved this!!To imagine that all of these great minds function best in small spaces.. I can understand it in a way – I too am an artist, and my studio is quite small. It makes me safe and centered, with a good flow of ideas.xx CharlottaP.S. Will show my son Oscar the shed of Roald Dahl – he is such a huge fan of his books!
