This beautiful country not only has an interesting and quite complicated history, but also some of the most stunning seaside sceneries we’ve ever seen. We only spent three days in Northern Ireland during our first trip there, but managed to see at least a dozen Game of Thrones filming locations, the murals of Derry/Londonderry and the mind-blowing, weirdly-shaped rocks at Giant’s Causeway in the north.

We stayed and ate in lovely B&B’s, hotels and pubs, met some really friendly people, witnessed beautiful sunsets, shot with a bow and arrow, wore Jon Snow outfits with proper capes and carried around swords while sceneframing some of the best Thrones scenes and sat at the very table where the actors of the Stark kids once played cards and shared some giggles.

All these memories and more from places like the Dark Hedges, Inch Abbey, Castle Ward and many, many other locations we never expected to be as amazing as they were in the end… this is a place we need to re-visit as soon as possible!
